Community Centres Swansea

Description of Organisation:
These buildings range from smaller single hall premises, middle sized multi purpose hall centres to larger buildings with more than one hall including sports halls. Due to this the buildings can be hired for a large variety of uses including meeting facilities, sport (Such as athletics, basketball, football, circuit training, martial arts, etc), arts and crafts, drama, functions, youth clubs and discos, to name but a few (see activity matrix)

All our buildings are extremely important to the social and economic development of the surrounding community. In resent years may of these centres have been up-dated to offer greater community experiences for their local communities, such as the Gendros Project, wildlife/nature area, M.U.G.A (outdoor kick about area), Computer/training suite in Waunarlwydd, Community Café in Treboeth (Café Croeso), the Gym in Townhill and the community gardens in Port Tennant and Morriston Memorial Hall, are to mention a few.
