Sew Swansea

Description: We provide group classes and one to one sessions held out our studio that are open to members of the public and booked via our website. We can be hired out, along with our sewing machines, to teach at community groups or other local organisations.

Services Offered: Group classes in beginners sewing, beginners crochet, children's clothing, dressmaking.
Pattern drafting, 6 week or weekend courses.

For community groups, we offer one-off 2-3 hour sewing sessions to 12-week block bookings.

Jazz Heritage Wales

Jazz Heritage Wales is a unique collection of recordings, photographs, books, stage gowns, artefacts and memorabilia, providing full access to students, researchers, media and general public. Talks and lectures can be given for communities groups and academic conferences, and our exhibitions will continue to tour. The performance side will be retained under the women in Jazz banner, running workshops and school tours. Vivian Hall Antiques Club

Vivian Hall antiques club. The club aims to help everyone gain pleasure and knowledge from furniture, pictures, glass & metalware etc; all of which can be found at antiques fairs and shops both locally and throughout the UK. Meetings take the form of guest speakers, often local, who provide talks on a vast range of topics, including local history, using slides or computer presentations. Many bring items with them. They will look at items brought in by members/visitors. Refreshments are always provided when visitors & members can chat with the guest and each other, and there is usually a raffle.

Mumbles and West Cross Photographic Society

The Mumbles and West Cross Photographic Society meets at the Tircoed (Old Fire Station), Fairwood Road, West Cross. Our Annual Print Exhibition takes place during the summer. Our purpose is to meet up with a programme covering digital imaging techniques, both black and white and colour. We invite guest speakers, demonstrations and practical evenings, competitions within the club and with other clubs. We have about 20 members, from beginners to experienced photographers, and even if you are not a practising photographer you will find something of interest. Our premises in West Cross are easily accessible from a level car park. Members come from all areas of the city and we are particularly known for having a friendly atmosphere. The aim is to enjoy our photography. Come and meet us any Wednesday and you will be made most welcome.

Sculpture by the Sea UK

A team of professional artists specialising in Environmental Art workshops and events for schools and communities. The aim is to enhance natural creativity and well-being, as well as raise environmental awareness.
