Dunvant Unemployed and Social Centre

Description: Dunvant Social Centre aims to provide an amenity for the people of Dunvant and its neighbourhood. It is a registered charity managed by a trustee management committee in accordance with the Charities Act 2006.

Services Offered: The hall is used by dancing clubs, keep fit and exercise clubs, slimming clubs, yoga, the horticultural club, the WI, for meetings, badminton, dog training, indoor bowling, table tennis and is popular for celebration and children's parties. Children's involvement includes Rugby Tots and The Swansea Rock Project. It has a stage and can easily accommodate a bouncing castle in the main hall. Regular clubs and activities are listed on the noticeboards.

Swansea & District Amateur Radio Club

Description: Established October 2015 to promote the Radio Hobby in Swansea & surounding areas. Currently we have about 20 members & growing.We meet every week on a Tuesday evening 7pm to 8.30pm.. We have secured a club call sign MC0SDD as yet we do not have any radio equipment We hope to rectify this when club funds permit. The club has recently started tuition for the foundation licence

MEEA Project

Description: Available to any person aged 50+ from a minority ethnic background. The purpose of the project is to ensure that minority ethnic elders have accurate information and advice, that their needs are represented, and that they know their rights.
