Street Football Wales

Description: Street Football Wales (SFW) is a social inclusion charity which helps social excluded people (16+) on a day to day basis. It’s an opportunity for people to be involved in something where they will not be judged or stigmatised. With the project Kick Some Balls, SFW is able to help socially excluded women though out wales with activities like swimming, yoga and many more.

SFW delivers a number of activities around Wales including a League and Cup programme, education programme and a Referee training which are all provided free of charge to all SFW participants. We also work alongside the Welsh Football Trust to help provide the opportunity for our participants to gain coaching awards.

SFW is also the Welsh partner for the Homeless World Cup and this has been incredibly successful during the past 14 years with record numbers of participants being assessed during the 2017 season.

Dunvant Unemployed and Social Centre

Description: Dunvant Social Centre aims to provide an amenity for the people of Dunvant and its neighbourhood. It is a registered charity managed by a trustee management committee in accordance with the Charities Act 2006.

Services Offered: The hall is used by dancing clubs, keep fit and exercise clubs, slimming clubs, yoga, the horticultural club, the WI, for meetings, badminton, dog training, indoor bowling, table tennis and is popular for celebration and children's parties. Children's involvement includes Rugby Tots and The Swansea Rock Project. It has a stage and can easily accommodate a bouncing castle in the main hall. Regular clubs and activities are listed on the noticeboards.

National Trust – Abertawe Centre

A Voluntary Association of National Trust members to promote and prosper the work of the National Trust and to make membership more enjoyable by holding talks & social events. A varied programme of talks on heritage issues. In the summer we arrange two mid-week coach outings, two Sunday outings and a short break holiday going North and South in alternative years. We hold an annual Christmas lunch in November at a local venue and also a Spring lunch. Some of our members provide volunteer help at Pennard Car park twice a week through the summer and also work as stewards at Dinefwr. Indoor Meetings held in Sketty Parish Centre.

Celtic Sword Club

Friends of the Glynn Vivian Art Gallery

Publications Produced: The Friends produce a Newsletter three times a year consisting of news, art reviews and other information concerning both the Gallery and the Friends. To celebrate their 50th Anniversary in 2008 the Friends produced a publication "A Passion for Art", a history of the Friends written by Kirstine Brander Dunthorne, which is available by mail order from the contact details below or by visiting the Friends website.

As a Friend you are able to attend regular lectures and are invited to exhibition previews at the Gallery. You are also entitled to a 10% discount on purchases made at the Gallery shop. Also all Friends receive a Newsletter three times a year.
