Description: Dunvant Social Centre aims to provide an amenity for the people of Dunvant and its neighbourhood. It is a registered charity managed by a trustee management committee in accordance with the Charities Act 2006.

Services Offered: The hall is used by dancing clubs, keep fit and exercise clubs, slimming clubs, yoga, the horticultural club, the WI, for meetings, badminton, dog training, indoor bowling, table tennis and is popular for celebration and children's parties. Children's involvement includes Rugby Tots and The Swansea Rock Project. It has a stage and can easily accommodate a bouncing castle in the main hall. Regular clubs and activities are listed on the noticeboards.

Facilities Available: The Dunvant Social club is a large community hall with a large downstairs hall, a separate kitchen area, toilets, stage, changing rooms and a separate upstairs room and toilet. It is fully centrally heated.
Table Tennis Tables, Full sized Badminton Court marked out. Nets etc provided. Users provide own bats, rackets, shuttles and table tennis balls

Ty Fforest Community House

TyFforest is a community house for the people of Fforesthall and Ravenhill. It is run by volunteers from the local community. We provide activities for children and young people, adult education, volunteer placements to develop your skills, an over 50s club, and plenty more. Community Centres Swansea

Description of Organisation:
These buildings range from smaller single hall premises, middle sized multi purpose hall centres to larger buildings with more than one hall including sports halls. Due to this the buildings can be hired for a large variety of uses including meeting facilities, sport (Such as athletics, basketball, football, circuit training, martial arts, etc), arts and crafts, drama, functions, youth clubs and discos, to name but a few (see activity matrix)

All our buildings are extremely important to the social and economic development of the surrounding community. In resent years may of these centres have been up-dated to offer greater community experiences for their local communities, such as the Gendros Project, wildlife/nature area, M.U.G.A (outdoor kick about area), Computer/training suite in Waunarlwydd, Community Café in Treboeth (Café Croeso), the Gym in Townhill and the community gardens in Port Tennant and Morriston Memorial Hall, are to mention a few.
