Friends of the City of Swansea Botanical Complex

Description of organisation:Founded in 1994, FCSBC has raised more than£250,000 to benefit the Botanical Gardens in Singleton, Clyne Gardens in Blackpill and Plantasia in the City Centre. FCSBC funded both the community building, Ty Blodau, and the Wildflower Garden in the Botanical Gardens. In Clyne Gardens, FCSBC paid for the tree trail and the benches at the Storytime tree. In Plantasia, the Tropical Hut was supplied by FCSBC.
The main source of income is the Community Garden Shop, run by volunteers and open to the public most Wednesdays throughout the year and every Saturday April to September. Visit the Shop to find a huge range of plants at sensible prices. New volunteers are always welcome. Contact us through the website or call at the Shop.
