Swansea Eastside Historical Society

Local History Society based in St. Thomas dealing specifially with the history of the eastside of Swansea. We have some 40 members at this present time. We invite speakers to attend on various occasions to discuss local history, these discussions also include many other areas and talks and are usually accompanied by slides or films. Our weekly meetings give members a chance to mix and discuss forthcoming events. New members are always welcome.

Description of Organisation

Talks and lectures on various local history subjects. We run various historical trips during the year and of course the Christmas Dinner not to mention refreshments supplied at every Tuesday morning meeting.
